I started sailing when I was 8, competing in Optimist at the national level. After Optis, I sailed J80s in the summer, competing in both nationals and worlds as a tactician. I started sailing Club 420s, rotating between being a skipper and crew. During the summer of 2021, my family and I moved to the Chicago area, and I made the varsity sailing team at New Trier High School and since then, I have been sailing as a skipper in 420s.
