Ways to Support our Sailors

You can support the GW Sailing Team in several ways and help us continue to grow and succeed!

1. Donations: Your generous contributions directly support our team’s travel, equipment, and operational costs. Every donation makes a difference, see below for more details and instructions! 

2. Wish List: Check out our Wish List through our Instagram bio on Linktree for items that will help improve our equipment. Your support of these specific items makes a big impact!

3. Giving Day & Giving Challenges: Be sure to mark your calendars when the team announces giving challenges! These are a great way for small donations to make a huge impact. This past fall, with the generous help of our family, friends, and alumni, we were able to raise over 33,000 for the team!

4. Events: We also announce fundraising and team events through the university’s official channels. Stay tuned for updates on upcoming events where you can engage with the team and show your support in person.

Interested in helping out the team by donating to us? Below are detailed instructions on how to get your donation directly to our sailors. Start by clicking the link below to navigate to the GW Donation Page for Club Sailing

The link above will take you to the homepage of GW Sailings Givecampus page, pictured below. 

Navigate to the box that asks for the amount for your donation and type in how much you are going to give.

Once you have filled in the amount, type in your name, contact information, email, and address. 

Keep scrolling to the bottom of the page to fill out payment information and type in if your employer does donation matching. 

Complete your donation by clicking the Give Now! button. A confirmation should be sent to your email address. Thanks for your support!
